Believe it or not, it’s in its 28th season (Portland, Ore.), outlasting every other MTV show to date, including “The Osbournes,” “Laguna Beach” and “Jersey Shore.” (By the way, Atlanta has never been home to any “Real World” season. Why?”It’s a perennial runner up. We talk about it. One time, we thought it was too spread out. It felt like a lot of little villages. We weren’t sure where to put the show. The Real World: Athens would have been wicked random

I wrote the story from the AJC talking to Jonathan Murray about why he hasn't chosen Atlanta yet for "Real World." He said he has considered the city for years for the show but it just hasn't risen to the top. Does it mean he'll ever come here? Who knows? It's been so long, I have my doubts.
