Thread: The Real World 27 - Casting

Apart from Ayiiia I have never ever seen the viewing public make an intelligent decision on any reality show ever.

Hey everyone. Cool site, been lurking for a few days now.

Question to one of the more experienced RW casting finalists or anyone who got far into the process. I know it's not cool obviously to post my casting tape I'm making in any public thread if I want any chance of making it on the show, but I'm wondering if I could PM the youtube link to my video when it's uploaded to someoneand they could check it out and let me know what they think?

I feel like for as much as you can predict as far as what they want out of people, I'd be a shoe-in personality wise. There's no telling of course what they're looking for this season, I know, but generally speaking.

So can anyone help out?

Thousands and thousands of 18-24 year olds apply for the show every year, yet somehow you believe you're a "shoe-in". Not saying you don't have a shot at making it, but from just a numbers/odds perspective...you and everyone else is the furthest away from a shoe-in.

No I totally agree with you, I should've been more specific.. I just meant I cannot imagine sending in my tape, and hearing nothing back at all. I can see myself making it a couple rounds easily, and of course that's pure speculation on my part but after seeing countless casting tapes on Youtube of people who got called, which many were some of the most horrendous videos ever compiled to try and showcase yourself; I just can't help but think I'll catch their eye at the very minimum

I'm fully aware that the general details let alone the specifics of what they are looking for cannot be known by anyone. I dunno, call it a good feeling I have! Hahah, no one on the cast will have gotten there by doubting they could do so. I'll keep the hope alive lol

I saw they posted new casting calls. Are those the only 3 they're gonna be doing, or are they going to add different places too?
