Thread: Jersey Shore - MTV

The premiere was very dull and slow but it was going to get good ratings regardless. You can tell this show has reached its peak and the fad is over.

Why are the episodes 2 hours long this season?
Are they trying to bore us to death.

I agree. So unnecessary.

I think the reason why JS is struggling right now is because the cast is maturing. Not to mention, they are supposed to be partying and having fun but MTV fails to realize the cast actually has **** going on in their lives.

It's a mix of that and that it has run it course. How many times can we see everyone drunk and fighting? The only thing they could have done to save it was get an entire new cast. It is very possible they would have another hit, but I doubt they will do that.
