It's Monday right?? So when is the big reveal as to who Dan had a relationship with? Also, sorry if this has already been covered, but by relationship do you mean close friendship or some hooking up action?

As far as I know, Dan had a girlfriend going into this challenge, but co workers of his were already calling it that he would cheat.

C'mon, c'mon, it's almost the end of the business day on the East Coast!

This is a continuation of the Dan social story from “The Island.”

For those who don’t remember him, he was a former Marine who appeared briefly in the ill-fated “Road Rules – Viewer’s Revenge” series. It was rumored at the time that he had hooked up with Tori (Miss Virginia). Hard to know if that was fact or the fantasy of Dan’s own invention…

It’s too early to have a clue what BMP will show us of Dan, but his cast will remember him for two things: his love of alcohol, and his “relationship” with Robin.

Dan was by far the drunkest cast member, but he was not alone. Apparently things were so bad at the beginning of the challenge that production took away all their hard liquor and left them only with beer and wine for the rest of the month. That didn’t slow down Dan, however, he simply became more resourceful and managed to be drunk every day he was there. Rumor has it that Dan and one other person would occasionally scour the area early in the morning searching for left over booze to start the day out right. Must be nice to be at an age where you can handle a month-long binge! Who wins second place in the alcohol consumption derby? It’s Robin!

While details regarding a challenge relationship (no reason to call it a romance) between Dan and Robin are scant, enough stuff has leaked out to know that something happened and that it was all caught on camera. They definitely hooked up at least once, according to one eyewitness account. Robin denied it and her denial pissed off Dan. What ensued was what we’ve heard is the biggest fight of the show, with the cast and crew as witnesses, with comments like “I xxxxed you for days, ****h,” and “I don’t remember.” For some, especially those who were annoyed by Robin on this challenge, the best part was her coming to other cast members and saying, “Tell me that won’t make it to air!” I don’t know if her comment was about the hookup on tape or the fight with Dan afterward. In any event, I hope we see both since it is bound to be good TV. (Ladies, nothing is more deflating to a guy’s ego that to have a woman you slept with say that she doesn’t remember you.)

Just one “revisit” to the comment last week about Dave’s departure. He has reportedly been telling people that he was bored and quit. All we reported was that he got into a huge fight with Dan and then left the next day. Dan nearly kicked Dave’s ass, we’re told. Dave can claim whatever reason/excuse he wants to, but he ought to think about how his comments will be heard inside BMP and how they will edit his departure and the events that led up to it from a storyline perspective. Many of the veteran cast found him to be a real prick and were happy after his departure to no longer hear how much money he could be making if he weren’t in Panama with them. Dave accepted the challenge invite, and by quitting, insulted the cast and fans equally, in my opinion. Maybe he just suffered island fever quicker than most, though, because he was not the only one to quit. More on that another time…

I called it. Ever since it was known that it was Veteran I knew it was Robin. too many of the girls are new and Tonya and Rachel are off limits, leaving Robin. Plus, we already knew Robin was a messy, sloppy drunk. That seems intense. And Robin and Dan being involved in the biggest fight this season is pretty shocking.

It better make air. I will be incredibly upset if it doesn't. Great info. And nice pics of some shelter maybe?

Not the real pics, just demonstrative images of palapas found in the appropriate tropical environs. Certainly not a "house" I'd want to live in for a month.

As for Robin, she should have been off limits, too, which may have played a major part in her denial.
