Hey,

Sry ppl I dont know if I can post this out here, if I cant, I´m sry.

Do any of you, know where I can watch the episode from from the Island , from last night? Because it isn´t on the website, and I cant watch it on Tv, because I dont live in America.

Did someone record it, and could post it online? If someone could do that, it would be great.

Yes, I understand, its just because in the past, they used to put it online in a couple or hours, or just after the show is done.

Well, one of the differences this time is that the MTV Networks IT people are busy pretending to be cast members at IAmOnMTV.com.

One of the members, maybeshesright, said in another thread that they aren't going to put the video up for a week. That's a bummer.

This is a 180 from the Gauntlet and TRW: Hollywood. Obviously they are trying to milk every last drop out of the ratings. I can't fully blame them, but this does seem to work against their previous stance on the distribution of their shows via new media. My guess is that they have not been able to effectively leverage the streaming episodes and have decided to push that viewership back to the tube.

It is too bad that there is not an applicable metric to gauge and quantify viewership universally across internet platforms so that they could competitively sell advertising. That would benefit us all by having more shows online, sooner.

I highly doubt that, lol.

There is already a horrid version floating around youtube if you are really desperate at this point, although I'd recommend waiting. The "problem" with The Real World and it siblings is that the niche is so small people don't readily pirate it. So unlike say Lost or BSG, it is not going to show up on Mininova 15 minutes after it finishes broadcasting in Atlantic Canada...
