Your right V1 that it would be a boring challenge if it were mostly married couples...I remember what Chadwick and Holly were like on Battle of the Seasons...talk about snoozer casting.

We were in discussion with a network about a show for Beth that would have included the challenge of becoming pregnant at her age - fertility testing, etc. Then, oops, it happened at the very first opportunity. The docs were completely wrong. I'd look for there to be a Beth show before any return to the challenges, and she probably will show up in a guest role on one or two other reality shows next season. Because of her pregnancy, we had to pass up one of those opportunities in the current season.

It's very common where I'm from (Bay Area) to become a first-time mother in your late thirties/early forties.

It seems Beth has been living a very successful and busy life, and now she's at a place to be a mom. That's my guess. And it makes me like Beth more. I admire people who wait until they are really ready for that commitment and responsibility.
It's not about the age at all, not even physically. In past Challenges, Beth has been stronger and healthier than most of the younger women, and could probably carry, give birth to, and raise a child with less complications than most of them.
Now I want her back on screen! But enough with the "Old Beth", "Fat Beth", "Bethasuarus" storylines. Ugh.

No but seriously, I'd like to see Beth on TV again, whether that's a future challenge or something else.
