You should look at the sociogram of relationships that Bacchus posted a while ago. There are a couple women missing, but the connections there are real, and perhaps conservatively stated. Most new fans don't remember, for example, that pre-veronica and Tina influencing Rachel, Tonya and Rachel were friends. Johanna is close with Colie and was in Austin only two weeks ago with Kelly Anne. Johanna, Tonya and Jenn have worked together outside of MTV. Most people forget that show taping time is small compared to the time in the real world that you don't see them. People assume that if you dont' see two people together on TV that there is no connection. As much as people on the internet may not like Evelyn, everyone wants a good relationship with her on the challenge because she can kick your ass (including most of the guys). She gets along great with Derrick, Kenny and Abram. On another board people say Evelyn is alone. They are simply out of touch.

Wow. That is very intelligent on their part. It makes things even more suspenseful. But have they even began to film the actual competition or are they still shooting photos and doing interviews and that type of thing?

Do you happen to know how the casting process works?(PM if you would like). Aneesa dropping out is disappointing. I miss seeing her
.

The challenge was to start on the 11th but I think that was pushed back to the 12th because of the departure change.

Yes, I know the casting process, but can't discuss it for contractual reasons. Sorry

The replacements haven't even been introduced yet so why should they even bring them into the Challenge. Greg is still bitter to this day and is probably to busy with his modeling. Sarah doesn't strike me as the type that would do a Challenge and neither does Joey. Why Will isn't on it I dont know. My guess would be that he is busy with his career as well. He is working on Parisa's music.
Ohhh good point. That makes alot of sense. I should of that that through! & im sure Will is busy with his music stuff also. Its just weird they bring only 1 out of the 9 members as the fresh rookies to stand completely alone!

Oh. I knew that some of them knew each other outside ot t.v., but I had no clue about these girls. And I actually do remember Rachel and Tonya being friends before Veronica and Tina formed the Mean Girls with her.

Johanna was the one I was just totally confused by. I didn't know if she was friends with most of these girls considering a lot of them are newer or older.

Yeah I would probably want to get on Ev's good side as well. Besdies my personal feelings for her, I think she is one of the best female competitors ever on a Challenge.

I see. The casting process just seems so tedious.

Although I have to say they did good with this cast. I am excited to see what will come.

The cameras should have been there since the cast walked through customs in Panama. They should now be shooting the show opening which takes forever (remember the Gauntlet 3 and Inferno 3 openings?), with the first of acual challenge starting on the 11th or 12th.

This years taping will be of a continuous show with no days off for cast or crew which is why it can only be one month long. 1) It's less expensive, and 2) if you are doing something "survivor style" then having a down day kind of defeats the purpose of the likely miserable conditions?

That is probably part of the reason, but I suspect there were deeper motivations. I'm a little sorry that she didn't stick with it, because I think the right interests were in place to send her packing first, if the rules allowed it.
