MTV's "The Island" to Premiere September 10th

The sixteenth incarnation of the Real World/Road Rules Challenge now has a premiere date via the MTV Remote Control Blog:

Great news for all you Real World/Road Rules: Challenge lovers: this season’s footage looks better than ever. And while I don’t want to give too much away, I’ll say this: It involves Tanya, Robin, a desert island and a ridiculously attractive cast who spend the bulk of their time plotting against one another and prancing around in teeny-weeny bikinis. So check out this tantalizing preview clip and get psyched. From the looks of it, this latest challenge could be even better than the season where Evan refused to let a bowling ball-sized hernia in his crotchal region stop him from competing! Or the time when Tanya yelled “I’d rather be a whore than a liar!” Well, almost..

Can’t wait till the new season kicks off on September 10th? Tide yourself over by reliving the drama from least season’s Gauntlet III.

It's better now that it has a premiere date set so that I don't have to keep guessing when it'll eventually come on. Like I've said before from the previews it looks awesome and hopefully it will live up to that come the 10th.

It's "Tonya" not "Tanya!" The Island is lushly tropical, not desert. Oh well, details, details...
