I was thinking kinda similar to Endurance, right? If you win a challenge you get an idol on there- here it'd be a key. Then either you 'take' keys from someone in an elimination, or when someone is eliminated they choose who their keys go to... that would explain why the guys are 'going after the girls for their keys'... romancing, befriending... may explain Kenny/Johanna, as well as the Dan/vet girl pairing.

the same guy who did MB rip-off his own idea and created Endurance. I guess b/c it was MB got cancelled.
