Ok.......well the getting married part can be stricken from the record, as that was "last semester" and we know all future plans are on hold between Wes and Johanna.

Not sure about the prize money. You would think something would have been floated around on message boards before now if that was indeed that case. I am looking forward to getting to the bottom of this one!

Are you sure the "crazy in love" part was about Wes? Maybe that was about Danny. Isn't Melinda from the Midwest? Makes sense that they would be the couple moving to the Midwest as opposed to Wes and Johanna. (Especially since Wes and Johanna have seemingly split. )

I'd love to know if the part about the prize money is true. Seems like MTV is getting serious about spoilers. At least if they're given out on the radio. During the filming of the show. LOL.

I agree that it makes sense that Danny was talking about his relationship with Melinda. I assumed they were still talking about Wes. People need to make better use of the return key, lol!

Where is V1man when we need him? I wonder if this is something that can even be talked about (i.e. if you say anything else we will snag your appearance fee too and never allow you back on a challenge?)

I've heard absolutely nothing about this, and while the challange was taping I was talking to Wes almost every other day about his ill-fated "reality rumble" venture. Wes is a favorite of many at MTV, so I don't believe this would have happened without my having learned of it from more than one source on the inside.

I looked at the E site where the post originated. There is no way to varify that the poster and Danny were ever in the same state let alone be at his/her school. If Danny had said the things attributed to him, then he, too, would have violated his contract with BMP. It says you can't discuss terms of the contract. The fact that Wes would or would not be paid would be covered by a contract line item. Danny may not be the brighest light bulb out there, but he also is not stupid. I'm very suspicious.

Thanks V1man. I am very suspicious as well although it is sometimes fun to entertain such ideas. I am ready to bust this and say that even though it is remotely plausible, it is highly doubtful.

My only question is why someone would make up that random story out of the blue. We obviously need more information if we were going to proceed in validating this notion. Even though I am not the biggest Wes fan out there, I think he would try and avoid breaking his contract on the eve of his chance at the big money of the Duel. He has to be smarter then that.

I guess we will file this one in the highly improbable unsubstantiated rumor department and hope that we will gain a more concrete perspective in the future.

Not to mention rumor has it that Wes will be doing the next challenge--The Duel II
