Thanks V1man. I am very suspicious as well although it is sometimes fun to entertain such ideas. I am ready to bust this and say that even though it is remotely plausible, it is highly doubtful.

My only question is why someone would make up that random story out of the blue. We obviously need more information if we were going to proceed in validating this notion. Even though I am not the biggest Wes fan out there, I think he would try and avoid breaking his contract on the eve of his chance at the big money of the Duel. He has to be smarter then that.

I guess we will file this one in the highly improbable unsubstantiated rumor department and hope that we will gain a more concrete perspective in the future.

Not to mention rumor has it that Wes will be doing the next challenge--The Duel II

Definitely rumor since BMP does not actually yet have a contract to do another challenge. People think it will happen but not real yet.

People make stuff up on the internet all the time. Most who do so enjoy the thrill of watching how people react to them. If its negative that create a new identity and press on...

I hate "The Duel" format and hope that they do not do another one. I swear you said that the next challenge was a done deal. Yes....you said that!

I just don't really buy this. I mean, Wes seemed pretty content about his win on the Duel reunion show and on the aftershow with Blair. He also said on both that he isn't planning on doing any more challenges, unless the prize is like a million dollars. So unless he didn't find out about not getting the check until months and months after he left Brazil, I just just don't think it's likely.

I hope they don't do Duel 2 next, either. I'd rather see the kind of old school challenge where the guys vs. the girls in the elimation round. This rotation of boys and girls is getting tired.

You guys make me sick, lol. I love The Duel format. Everybody for themseleves is kinda cool. The Duel is nothing but a spin-off of the Inferno anyway. Or am I wrong?
