Bionic Woman: Ep. 04 - Faceoff I felt that this episode was a big drop off from last week which leaves me quite nervous that the less we see of Sarah the less of a show we are going to have. With our gorgeous antagonist chained up most of the episode and looking less then her hot self, we were left to Jaime and I knew things were going to be bad (as in bad writing) when Antonio set off the alarms on purpose. I mean if you are going to get caught on purpose, why not just use the front door rather then go through all the trouble that they previously went through getting to that point in the mission. Also, why not just tell Jaime if you are going to set off all the alarms? I really don't get it. ....and what was up with the bionic sounds this week? First week, none. Second week, none. Third week, a few bionic sounds. Fourth week, Bionic Symphonic soundtrack. Theoretically she is always using the Bionics so why not just give us the sounds when something substantial happens. It was starting to sound stupid, especially when she was escaping and jumping from beam to beam and you could hear...bionic sound...bionic sound...bionic sound......get some WD40 dammit! The only real news that came out of this episode was that the bionics have a 5 year lifespan which means that Jaime Summers will die suddenly 4 years 9 months and 8 days after this show is canceled...

Re: Bionic Woman: Ep. 04 - Faceoff You really are a pessimist aren't you? I do agree that the writing is a bit dis-jointed and can be problematic for the future of this show. As usual I didn't really pay attention to this episode, and I missed a lot but I did catch the part where she found out she only had 5 years. I just don't see NBC canceling anything this year. They have nothing better in their vaults.

Re: Bionic Woman: Ep. 04 - Faceoff I enjoy the show, I just have a really big crush on Katee Sackhoff (Sarah Corvus) and think we need to see her more. I mean lets say that Jaime Summers died in a terrible accident next week... ...and then they found a cure to help Sarah. We would still have a show! It would still be The Bionic Woman, Right? Ok...not going to happen...lol. I like Bionic better then most of what is on but I am not going to hold back with my thoughts when I feel the writing is sub par for the cast provided and the premise - which is very rich and could lead to so many things. Note: I keep forgetting that most of the shows I think are doomed are on NBC which makes a big difference as far as the chances of getting canceled (looooow expectations.) They should really move Bionic to Monday after Heroes to take advantage of the great lead in and fact that they are of a similar genre.
