It's planned to be released in 2014.

I have no interest in ever seeing another remake of Carrie.

Wasn't there one a few years ago with one of the London brothers? Anyone remember that?

Edit: I just looked it up. It was a sequel. The Rage: Carrie 2

Edit2: Nevermind. I just saw that you guys were already talking about it. lol

Michael Bay will **** up the TMNT movie. I hope that's not gonna happen.

To me, the horror classics are the best movies ever, so I hate seeing these newer directors constantly fail with these remakes. Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street-remakes all sucked.
I disagree. The only one that sucked was the Anoes remake

    I haven't seen Insidious yet.

I give credit where credit is due. Zombie gave an excellent background on Michael Myers in Halloween, but it made him human. Anybody that knows the Halloween series knows that Myers in fact not human, but simply pure evil. As for the Friday the 13th remake. Since when is Part 1 with Jason? What the hell? But aside from that, I love how, finally, Jason runs and sets up traps. Although the ending is a huge slap in the face and the acting was dreadful. Don't get me started on the Nightmare on Elm Street.

Insidious is alright, I guess. Not as scary as people make it out to be

Carrie trailer was the first preview during Paranormal Activity 4 tonight. The crowd loved it. The ones old enough to know what it was, anyway.

I know the Halloween series as well and agree with you but it is STILL a GOOD movie. The F13 movie is a remake. It doesn't matter if it has Jason or not or whether Mrs. Voorhies should've been the killer. They didn't need to repeat that as it would be boring.

And I love your quip about the Carrie trailer. Still not feeling that or Paranormal Activity 4. I think those movies are crap.
