I almost died of excitement when I found out about the upcoming remake of my all time favorite horror movie and novel.

Any thoughts? Has anyone else seen the original?

That's what I'm thinking as well. How could one not have heard about Carrie. The 2002 remake was okay but this one sounds absolutely dreadful. 1976 for life. oh yeah that sequel wasn't too bad either.

Not al all. They way it was said in the first one and when she killed the three people with the pole and pool in part 2 was classic. Even for 1999. One reason why I never got contacts was because of that scene.

NOTHING will top 1976. Not the ****ty sequel , and not the '02 remake. The problem I had with that one is that it was PG13 and a made-for-tv-movie so a lot was watered down. This version is Rated R and they says it'd going to be way more graphic, just like the novel. Plus, since it's set in 2012, I can only imagine what horrible things the classmates will do to her

My one issue is that I think Chloe is too pretty for the role. Then again, it way either her, or Lindsey Lohan for the role.
