Thread: Jordin Sparks first album released today

Jordan might be a nice girl, but I don't think I'll be running out to the store to buy this album.

Do you usually run to the store to buy an AI winner album????

I've never bought a winner album, AI or CI. I've bought 2nd runner up and a 1st runner up though for CI.

The winner's first album usually sucks...although they are looking for the next "American Idol" or "Canadian Idol" the record label hasn't got the first clue of how to break into the pop market. So I avoid the debut album. There aren't many Kelly Clarkson's or Carrie Underwood's out there that their talent is so powerful that it defies the box that the label wants to mold you into.

I don't even remember who Jordin is.

I guess I can be totally honest here: The last album I bought was Morrissey Maladjusted in 1997. I really had to think about it, but I remember paying the $15 bucks for it at a concert.

That was an emergancy and you had no other choice! You were comitted to the new season of Heroes and it was your only hope! I am sure "the man" understands.
