I watched the 4th episode and it was fun. However the story is about to arch to the bad part of the swinger lifestyle (you know, the part where your partner starts "swinging" without you, lol.)

I am going to keep tuning in (as I love Molly Parker!)

It was canceled before it even aired. CBS dumped it in the summer to burn it off. Not their type of show....I guess some people at CBS were very unhappy it was made in the first place.

You have to remember it is the geriatric network with a median age of 54 (which still looks young compared to Fox News with a median age of 65!)

CBS is not one to run racy shows. This would have been a better fit on a cable network (like AMC) or The CW.

definetly the cw. but what do you mean it was cancelled before it even aired? so are all the episodes filmed? did the cast move on to other projects?

CBS basically whispered that they would not be asking for more episodes before it aired.

Networks generally don't debut a show in the summer unless they want nothing to do with it.

Thirteen episodes of Swingtown were made. Don't expect any more unless another network wants to pick it up.
