I thought the second episode of Go On was fair. I plan to give it another shot next week as I know that comedies need time to build.

As for other new shows this fall...it is slim picking.

    Re: Fall Television Premieres

I have a few new shows that I'm kind of looking forward to. I thought the first episode of The Mindy Project was pretty funny. Or, more that I really like Mindy Kaling and I thought it had a lot of potential. Pilots are hard to gauge, especially sitcoms.

I'm also looking forward to Nashville because it's getting a lot of positive buzz. I'm not a huge country music fan or anything, but I have a loyalty towards Connie Britton because of Friday Night Lights, and Hayden Panettiere from Heroes (first season), and Remember the Titans, and well, because I'm a man...

But the show I'm most looking forward to is Last Resort. I'm pretty sure they released the pilot early but I haven't caught it yet. Hoping it doesn't disappoint.

It's the latest attempt at duplicating the Lost formula.

I might tune in, although I don't have very high expectations.

I have heard good reviews about Last Resort, Nashville, and The Mindy Project. I will probably watch the pilot for The Mindy Project later this week since it is on hulu already.

I attended a pre-screening for Nashville. Thought it was good. I will be tuning in.

I'll give Nashville a shot too, for Connie Britton. I hadn't seen her until I watched American Horror Story. Not a fan of Panettiere, but if the show is good, I'll stomach her.

To be fair, Jodie Sweetin pretty much crushed herself with her battle against meth/ecstacy addiction. I would have liked to see her do more; she's been working at a rate of about 1 indy film per year for a while now.
