Razor sucked.....but compared to what is on lately - It is like the fracking good old days, lol. You don't know how much I'd pay to see an actual space battle or something cool like that....

Re: Battlestar Galactica: Season 4

Friday's episode was better, but not by much. I just have no interest in madam president, sorry. What the hell happened to Starbuck? Don't they know she is the star of the damn show?

To top it all off, next week is the last episode THIS YEAR! (although the previews looked good, it is still depressing to think we waited so long for this season, we got served crap and now it is over...)

What the Frak? No New Battlestar Until 2009

Battlestar Galactica fans are well-advised to sit back and savor this Friday's midseason finale, because the balance of Season 4 — the series' last, lest we forget — won't be hitting the tube until after "the first of the year," says executive producer Ronald D. Moore. And that's a best-case scenario.

At a Wednesday-night screening of this week's episode, Moore explained to TVGuide.com that even though they are currently filming the series' final scenes, the "practical realities" of post-production — coupled with the formidable end-of-year competition presented by new fall series, baseball and football — places the onset of the final episodes at the start of 2009, at the earliest. "Realistically, there's no way to get back on the air faster," he apologetically added.

Colonel Tigh got a Six pregnant~!

They didn't say a word about it this week. No idea how it is possible. Seems a bit far fetched given the rules that the show has seemingly set in place concerning cylon on cylon action.

oh, i'm an idiot! i forgot all about that storyline.

well i remember the cylons discussing pregnancy back on caprica & theorizing that 'love' was the missing ingredient needed for successful conception. so maybe that's the justification they're going with; Tigh's addled mind confusing 6 with Ellen.. & 6, well, maybe she has fallen in love with the old fart.

So on a side note...

Is the new show Caprica supposed to be a series or a mini- series? I read somewhere that the tentative air dat was 12/08. Wouldn't that conflict with the last half of BSG in 2009?

I heard that it was just a pilot with a pickup contingent on ratings. The wiki page doesn't give an air date.

I am going to go on record right now saying that I hate prequels in general - but the cast looks great and I'll give it a shot.

Yeah that is what it will be exactly a pilot/movie that will continue into a series if the ratings are good enough. The casting has definitely been great so far and if they do it right then it should be picked up. And tonight is the last episode this YEAR?

If they do it anything like this season it will tank! I hope they "get in the game" and make something worthwhile.

Re: Battlestar Galactica: Season 4

Well, it is over. Done. We will now have to wait until 2009.

Although I enjoyed last night's episode, it misfired on many levels and could have been much, much better being it was the big payoff episode that we have been waiting for since the premiere.

Best moment of the mid-season finale: I was almost sure Tigh was going to be shot out the airlock! I was thinking, "Hmm there are only 10 episodes left. Killing off a lead at this point is totally within the realm of possibility."

I thought that finding earth was much less exciting then it could have been. I didn't realize they had found it until I actually saw it. I figured it was going to take 20 jumps or something like that over another 5-9 episodes. I guess the shocker for me was that earth was destroyed.

I always wondered how "we" would react to colonists when they got here. I guess the answer is "wez be dead." lol

What did everyone think? Where is this going to go next?
