You had to be living in an unwired cave the past few days if you have not heard anything about the Miley Cyrus controversy. Basically she appeared in Vanity Fair wearing a sheet and a lot of people are not happy, including her boss - Disney.

I personally don't care either way, although I know if I had a young daughter I would not be shilling her half naked in a magazine for an adult audience. However, no laws have been broken here and I am quite sure there are much more pressing issues that Brian Williams could be covering on the NBC Nightly News rather then this gossip centric fascination.

That being said, I love how Disney basically boxed Miley, saying that she would "disappear" for 4-6 months in order to allow this to blow over. They acted shocked and disappointed that their billion dollar franchise star would pose for seemingly provocative pictures.

Well Disney, I'd love to hear the explanation for this:

I am so over all of this Miley Mania...The girl is a bit on the hoochie/skanky side with or with out that pic, I personally don't even like the pic, I don't think she looks beautiful in it, It looks like she has 3 chins and she's all hunch back (not to mention Perez airbrushed it to look like The Joker and it was pretty accurate looking, LOL). If they wanted to make a big fuss over something it should have been about the pictures of her in her bra draped over her boyfriends lap...or pulling down her shirt to expose her bra while trying to give a come-hither stare. She is following in the footsteps of Britney, Christina and Lindsay and that is not a good thing.

I agree 100%...I was like WTF when I saw it...its just not a flattering photo, but thats just my opinion...I guess I am not a photo critic, LOL

I know this is wrong, but my first impression of the picture was that she was a teenage rape victim in a hospital attempting to cover up (at least that is what I thought the photographer was trying to portray in some sick and twisted way.)
