Survivor Micronesia: Life at Ponderosa

Well I have heard of some people trying to watch the Life at Ponderosa on Cbs.com and it not working for them so I am going to post it on here. You can watch them and talk about it. I am going to begin from a Eliza to Jason and so on.

Re: Survivor Micronesia: Life at Ponderosa

Thanks for posting all the videos Pheonix.

You know, Jason sounded like he was actually close to playing the idol although we didn't even get a hint of that at tribal council. I wonder if there was any truth to that.

It is good to see Ozzy and Jason getting along. It would be funny if Parv was voted out next. It sounds like Ozzy might not be as accepting of her presence!

Lol. That would add some drama for the next Life at Ponderosa.

Sadly this is very true. Parvatie will not be going home.....and Cirie will not be going home. My guess is that they will vote out James, then Erik, and then Amanda. (that is if they don't win immunity)........ Lol I had a thought... What if Cirie actually made it to the final 3.....and WON! That would single handedly make me stop watching Survivor. lol j/k.

I do not like Cerie. I just simply can not stand the woman. BUT... if she outwits, outlasts and outplays the others to make it to the end, I'll applaud her for doing what smarter, stronger and more skilled players could not do, and I will respect her for it all. Survivor is not a fan popularity contest; to make it one shames the purity of the game, the cast, and the fans.

My biggest issue is that the game is called "Survivor." There should be something to do with literal surviving involved with the format. In the old days if you did nothing around camp, could not fish etc - you were voted off. It was an advantage to a tribe to keep stronger players so they could get more food etc and that would help in them as a group sticking around and having the numbers at the merge.

These days outdoors survival has nothing to do with it. They seem to have all the fresh drinking water they need, bags of rice, and it looks like their camps have been outfitted by LL Bean, with machetes, tarps, pillows, pots, pans, fishing gear et al.

This is why Cirie is still around. There is no longer any survival in Survivor. I guess I can't blame her for taking advantage of the fact that the spirit of the show has been diluted.

I just wish they would re-evaluate the game and bring back the importance of winning rather then make losing a preferred outcome (to get rid of all your competition at no cost.)

I suspect that you are absolutely correct, but this is what happens over time when lawyers and insurance companies with no creativity become too involved. Producers just can't let the game play out now as they did in most earlier seasons. That said, I'm going to the finale anyway. Wouldn't miss it, no matter who wins.
