Survivor China: Ep. 1508 - High School Friend Contest

I was really distracted most of this episode. I had a friend over who has not seen any of this season's Survivor episodes and he would not stop talking about Courtney.

He is a health care professional and he was shocked that they were allowed to keep her on the show to this point, with her serious medical condition. Every time they would offer a shot of her he would comment, and every time I would nod in agreement as I took a quick look then turned my head away in disgust.

I am at a loss for words. What was CBS thinking when the cast her? They should have said, "Thanks, but no thanks and make sure to grab a complementary "intravenously accessed" bag of vitamin enhanced fluids on your way out!"

Being that I was preoccupied the only other thing I can say is, Stupid, Stupid, Stupid.

They voted one of there own out and the not the guy with the two idols. They basically let the members of the old other tribe back in the game and set James on his way to the final 4.

I hate when things are lopsided but for whatever reason as long as James is safe I'm okay with how things went down.

They needed to get rid of Jean-Robert last week, so I'm finally glad he went this time. I was so scared his stupid sneaky plan was going to work and James, with both immunity idols, would be gone tonight.

I was a bit disappointed that Eric told Jean-Robert about James having both idols...it would have been funny if he pulled a Jamie. I wasn't surprised to see Todd tell James about Jean-Robert's plan. Todd flip flops too much.

I don't blame your friend for being distracted by Courtney, she is wasting away before our eyes, and I really think it's a disgrace that the casting directors passed her through knowing that she could lose weight she couldn't afford to lose.

I am now an Amanda fan. Not sure how that came about. She seems to be the only reasonable person to partake in many of the strategy sessions and if I was on the show I'd be playing the same way she does. You use your numbers to eliminate the smaller of the merged tribes, then fight amongst yourselves. Otherwise you end up on the jury.

Since they couldn't pull that off, all I care about at this point is that Courtney and Peih-Gee are the next two gone. After that I am not going to be overly particular as to who actually ends up winning. James, Amanda, Denise and Frosty are all likable. I am on the fence with Todd.
