I just found out they are making this legend into a movie! And it's NOT an Old English!!! It looks awesome and I am really excited. Very well rounded and strong cast: Angelina Jolie, John Malkovich, Anthony Hopkins, Robin Wright Penn.... Did you guys have to read this in high school? Even though it was difficult to get through, I thought it was an awesome story!

Hmmm......I don't think this story was ever high on my list. Glad you are excited though!

I just watched the trailer and will say it looks like a CGI spectacular. Like Lord of the Rings (I only made it through the first one) this is just not my genre (fantasy.) The actors are all big names and good at their craft so I am sure it will be a great film that will do well at the box office, although I'll be honest in saying I doubt I would watch it on cable.

I don't mind CGI much. I mean, it obviously doesn't look real, but I think the surrealism kind of adds to the whole fantasy aspect of the various legends and what not of most of the movies it is used in, such as Lord of the Rings and 300.
