Thought i'd start a Generic Thread since there are always a ton of one-off reality shows, and not every show needs to have its own thread. Here you can speak about any reality TV show you'd like.. from years ago, what's currently on air, or what you've heard about the upcoming seasons.
Has anyone watched "I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!" (the original UK edition... not the god awful US version)?? It's currently on air and i'm loving this season... i've seen the last 3 series live (streamed a few others non-live from years ago).. and its such a fun little show (I started watching it to fill in the gap for Big Brother). 13 "celebs" live together in a jungle (in Australia) for 3 weeks and compete in various competitions (usually involving creepy critters of all sorts), fighting to win safety and luxury food for the camp (as opposed to basic rations). You can find a lot of episodes on youtube. Similarly to BBUK, the general UK public vote who they want to compete in said competitions and who they wish to kick out, leaving the final person as the King or Queen of the Jungle. Also similarly to BBUK, the drama is ongoing from day to day... when those guys get basic rations, they are not the happiest bunch haha
Also Catfish is having the Untold Stories again, and its actually pretty hilarious... the terrible OTT acting gets me everytime. And the stories are sometimes so much more messed up than the actual Catfish episodes.
Anyone watching the farewell season of American Idol? Or has it completely died that no one cares anymore hahaha... i'm checking out the auditions as per usual (doubt ill stick around for the live shows)
I missed the premiere!
But I'm gonna watch it. I know it's a dead show but I've been watching for such a long time. Like every year I inevitably get pulled in lol so of course I have to see the last season
the last performer on tonight's episode gave me goosebumps! surprises me how reality tv can still tug at the heart strings haha... American Idol hasn't lost its touch
Yeah I watch it lol.
Lip Sync Battle KILLLED IT last night!!!!!!!! Both Tatum's were brilliant (but Jenna has the upperhand imo... her performance of Pony from Magic Mike was the best thing EVER!!!! I was suprisingly turned on hahaha :P) But Queen B at the end though... showstopper
I JUST FOUND CHARM SCHOOL ON YOUTUBE!!!
GOOD BYE WORLD FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS
Basketball Wives vs. WAGS. i have a feeling Basketball wives will be a better show but what are y'alls opinions??
i remember watching the first season. My mom was a big fan of the show, probably more than i was.
I remember watching Rivals 2 on TV which was my first challenge season so then i did some more exploring. On USA i came across a show called Summer Camp around the same time Rivals 2 was airing. it was interesting and i think Debut Album liked the show too.

very cool!! MTV Canada actually produced their own reality show thats like a mix between Road Rules and The Amazing Race haha... In "Wild Ride", 15 ppl (5 teams of 3) all race one another in Tuk-Tuks through Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, then back to Thailand in time to see the famous Full Moon Party. Teams are made up of friends and ppl from all over the world (Canada, UK, Germany, France, USA, Sweden, Australia, etc)... and they create the teams themselves (they can even switch team members during the race if they want to)!! they are all 20-somethings looking to party and have a good time during their race, but there will also be a ton of drama as well. They first have to learn how to drive the Tuk-Tuks (3-wheeled vehicle), and from there they have a map and they are completely on their own, each with their own camera crew. It's a 30 minute show (hooray for old school 30 minute MTV shows!! haha) and because its on late night its completely unedited for swearing lmao
It's a pretty interesting concept!! Enjoying the first episode already... one guy didn't make the meet up in Thailand with the host because he blacked out the night before after the bars and woke up on a park bench at the University of Thailand lmao... a hungover girl had to throw up during the hosts introduction and ran off set. another guy got arrested and they had to run around to other teams and locals to beg for bail money. This all happened before they even departed on the race lmao... but don't worry it's not done in a trashy way.. it's actually pretty funny!
If you can find it online somewhere (not sure if its airing in the states) i'd recommend!
found a preview/trailer to it: http://blueantmedia.ca/portfolio/wild-ride/
