Filming was a lot longer than previous reunions have been. Following the reunion, a preview of Real World: Hollywood was shown.

Lyndsey [the new Australian VJ who hosts TRL and also hosted the Sydney reunion] was the host.

Tidbits:

-Everyone was mad at Eric. He doesn't speak to many castmembers anymore and he fought with a lot of them today because they said he didn't deserve to be there.

-Frank & Tori are ok now. It was shown to be more than it actually was on TV.

-In true Katie fashion, she was cursing the entire time.

-Coral & Ev fought a lot, but much of it was done while they were showing clips on the big screen and the cameras weren't on them

-Katie was livid at Evan and she yelled at him a lot.

-Coral & Evan fought a little.

-Ev & Eric fought a little.

-Nehemiah & Evan fought a little as well.

-Coral made fun of Brooke & Ev's relationship, which upset Ev...Lyndsey then asked if the rumors are true that Brooke was dating Ev's ex [Jen]. Ev wouldn't comment, but she seemed very upset and hurt.

-Johanna is no longer that close with Melinda and will not be a bridesmaid even though she is invited to the wedding

-Beth was made fun of, as usual, and her age was brought up

-On a deleted scenes clip, Rachel & Eric were shown hooking up

-CT & Danny were both bashed a lot throughout the reunion

Relationships:

-Jillian & Frank are still together

-Brad & Tori are still together

-CT & Diem broke up

-Johanna and Wes broke up

-Paula & Derek are just friends

-John & Casey are just friends

Future Challenges:

-Coral, Johanna, Rachel, Tori, Brad, Frank, Nehemiah all said they would not do another challenge

-Evan, Kenny, Eric, Jillian, Paula, Katie, Ev all said they would do another challenge.

Wow, very detailed! I wonder who their source was this time around. It was obviously an inside job, lol.

How come only like half of the cast went to the reunion? And also why was everyone mad at Eric? I always got the impression he was well liked..

I feel very bad for Ev.. i would be very hurt in that situation, and i would definately not want to talk about it on national tv.

I am not sure about the Eric situation although it would be easy to theorize that if the final task involved running more then 20 feet total, he lost it for the Vets. You know that scene they showed in the previews over and over with Eric on his back having trouble breathing? I bet that will come into play (i.e. Coral spider bite - v2.0)

I am just guessing, but the pieces seem to fit!

As for getting the entire 32 members of the cast together, it is all about money and MTV is cheap. I remember Danny saying that for the Real World Austin Reunion he and Melinda were paid $2000 each to show up (plus airfare, hotels, etc) and I am willing to conject that the premium has gone through the roof now that some cast members think they brandish the star power of a Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie.

In the end MTV probably attempted to get those that made it to a certain point in the Challenge (whose price they would meet) and those who are the most entertaining to have on the show (e.g. Coral) because of the finances involved.

I don't know; I seem to remember hearing that cast members are obligated to come to the reunion if they are asked and don't have a reasonable conflict. I don't think it's a matter of throwing more money at them to get them to show up; I think it's already built into their contracts. I could be wrong, though.

Even if it is not about money, there has to be a reason that CT and Diem are not on that list. You would think that MTV would have wanted them there, especially CT, being 90% of the show unfortunately seems to be about him.
