Indiana Jones IV

Is anyone excited as I am to see a Fedora'd Harrison Ford hobbling along with his cane and whip?

Re: Indiana Jones IV

I love Indiana Jones. They've probably waited much to long to come out with another movie. Especially with Harrison Ford as the lead.

He's what 60 now???

Re: Indiana Jones IV

He is old, for Indy!

To put things in perspective I have a video from 1968 called, "Doors at the Hollywood Bowl" and he was one of the camera men that filmed it. He was around the same age then as a few people on this forum, now!

There is a good writeup on Wikipedia that goes over the progression of events that lead up to the current incarnation of the script and why it took so many years to finally get the go ahead.

I'm looking forward to it, I have always loooved the Indiana Jones movies. And if Rocky can come back and fight a boxing match when he's like seventy, than Indiana Jones can come back for some adventures! (I know Sly isn't really 70....)

Talking Re: Indiana Jones IV

Indiana Jones is my all-time favorite hero.
I can pretty much recite the movies verbatim. Drives my kids nuts.
I wish River Phoenix hadn't bit it and was around to take over as Indy, like he was supposed to. As a teenager when The Last Crusade came out, I thought YES! River IS young Indy!

Indiana Jones and the Curse of the Crystal Skull that Fell In a Ravine and was Lost for Many Years (I know that's not the title, but man! The real one's almost as long!) was filming about 10 miles from my house in New Haven, CT.
People who know my love of Indy kept telling me to go stalk the set, but I never did.

LMAO

61... 70

same difference! lol

I actually enjoyed the last Rocky. It was nice to go back to the old Rocky as he was in Rocky... he's a funny guy.

Lisa, everytime I see Jaquin (sp?) I get all sad, always reminds me of the loss of River. Such talent ... wasted talent most of the time, but talented nonetheless.

Re: Indiana Jones IV

Lol, well I was close on his age! I didn't actually see the next Rocky. I just remember it was weird that all these new movies were being made several years after the last one in the franchise. Rocky, Indiana Jones, Die Hard, Terminator.... guess it's the new trend now!

Re: Indiana Jones IV

I'm looking forward to this now that I know that Shia LaBeouf is in it.

May 22, 2008 is a long ways away though.

Here's a spread in Vanity Fair.
