Welcome: Please Introduce yourself

Welcome to Vevmo. A message board dedicated to Entertainment. A place to meet and talk with people just like you, who can't get enough of TV.

Originally this all began because of Big Brother. A group of us wanted a way to stay in contact in the off season and Bacchus the genius that he is created this place. Of course, most of us being TV addicts we quickly evolved and you'll find this place has many features (Chat and constant updates to gossip and news) to feed your addiction.

If you are new and/or haven't gotten the hang of reading the forums or know how to post, please check out the FAQs for some guidance or feel free to ask.

Here are some guideline questions to help you tell us a bit about yourself. (You don't have to answer them...It's up to you how much or little you share)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Name or name you'd like to be called?
2. Occupation?
3. How did you find this place?
4. How do you watch your favorite TV shows? Real time, DVR, TiVo, On-line, or VCR (yes some people like me are still stuck in the dark ages)?
5. Got a list to manage your viewing and recording schedules?
6. Has your significant other threatened to leave you because you are taking over all the TV's in your home to feed your addiction? (I'm hoping I am not the only one to answer in the affirmative for this one. lol )
Feel free to share more about you.
1. Name or name you'd like to be called? Kathleen, Kathy or Kath...heck I'll answer to anything really.
2. Occupation? I manage and instruct adult literacy. We upgrade your essential skills to find employment or to get your high school diploma or get into other training programs.
3. How did you find this place? I just followed Bacchus, where ever you told me to go I went.
4. How do you watch your favorite TV shows? Real time, DVR, TiVo, On-line, or VCR (yes some people like me are still stuck in the dark ages)?As I just mentioned I tape shows on my VCR and I watch in Real Time. I live in Canada and most shows are not available for me to watch online (in the legal sense). Since joining here I've added more shows to my list.
5. Got a list to manage your viewing and recording schedules? Yes. My TV shows are many and I need a list to tell me when I am supposed to be watching and what in real time and what I am supposed to be recording. For this I am thankful to be living in Canada because our affiliate stations often times gives us shows earlier so there is not as much conflict.
6. Has your significant other threatened to leave you because you are taking over all the TV's in your home to feed your addiction? That is a big YES, I'm pretty sure he is joking because he hasn't left yet. All summer all I could hear was I will be so glad when Big Brother is over...then he groaned while I was so busy helping with the creation of this place...now he grumbles because he can't watch TV because I'm watching something or recording something on the other TV.
I just wanted to add that I have two little girls...my oldest is getting into all the shows I like. Chuck, Heroes and Bionic Woman. (Only because I tape those shows in the living room and because we are cursed with digital cable, she can't turn the channel...lol )
Hi. I am Itsreallyme. Thanks so much for creating this site. I can't wait to dive in. How come more people haven't introduced themselves?
Oh yeah, at another site I go to, people call me ITS or IRM for short. Either of those or itsreallyme are fine or come up with a new nickname and that would be cool too!
