Well what does everyone think about this location for our next Survivor? I personally think it will be a good location. I can't wait for the next season already. I also think it will be neat seeing it in HD. (It may be alittle to soon to start this thead)

I think the location will be fine. The location is usually not an issue (except for the first one in Africa without a lake or ocean) because they are always in an exotic, beautiful spot.

The key is that they need to up the stakes and punish more for losing. Make being strong an asset rather then a detriment. More Ozzy types and less Chets.

That is what I would like to see.

Africa was a weird season because it wasn't tropical. At least Gabon is by water!

the Africa season was so much more intense b/c of all the wildlife. I can't speak for all the Survivors I havnt seen....but i would NOT do a Survivor Africa. I'd be scared a lion would DESTROY me.

I think Gabon will be visually stunning, and yes, this one is in the rain forest with lots of water (which is how Survivor should be.)

I agree about the animals. That was the one thing about the first Africa that was very unnerving.

Lions wouldn't think twice about snacking on you or your tribe mates, lol. You are part of the food chain rather then on top of it.

I remember being a bit on edge on Survivor Africa about the Lions, but I think it adds an exciting element to the game of Survivor.

Not only do you have to outwit, outplay, outlast your competition you have to survive the wildlife and environment. I'm looking forward to it.
