There has been a lot of speculation over the last few weeks concerning the next RW/RR Challenge to be filmed this summer. I have been patiently "listening to the internets" and have been rewarded with a steady flow of information.

I initially wanted to hold what I knew until the challenge actually started filming, but being other sites such as TWOP are posting the spoils freely, I guess it's time to spill. With that being said, I am going to piece everything together that I have at this point, whilst filtering out the static.

First of all, this Challenge is going to be somewhat different then what we have seen in the past (so cross off Battle of the Sexes 3, Gauntlet 4 and The Duel 2.) We don't know the name but we do the event is going to be similar to Survivor in format. Actually, a cast member or two has been spotted updating their Netflix wish lists with Survivor seasons of old. With that being said, what better place to hold such a Challenge then the symbolic home of Survivor, Panama. The location has been throughly scouted (by MTV's Viacom sibling, CBS) and everything is already in place as far as production is concerned.

Note: A comment on a Bunim Murray associate producer's Myspace page was the impetus for us to start looking down this path (which turned out to be the right one.) Also, her comment here on another producers page confirms she is working on the upcoming challenge.
