Crews got a new car! Yay! For some reason I still find him pulling over his ex's husband extremely funny. |
This was funny in both episodes and I hope he does it again in the future. Even though you can't blame the guy for marrying the ex-wife, it is still funny!
I think they hit casting gold with the pairing of Adam Arkin. They play off each other so well. Pure genius. |
I also love the Lewis/Arkin dynamic. This was great casting and is the reason I watch.
What I find so curious is the terms of Crews settlement. If the LAPD settled and the contingency was that Crews stay away from the detective that arrested him.... isn't that like admission of guilt somehow? Or in the very least admission of negligence. |
I agree. Why would they even consider creating such a rule within the settlement unless they just assumed he would seek vengeance and/or have something to hide.
Was the LAPD determined for Crews to take the fall and there was no investigation. |
I am starting to get the feeling that this is the case. The LAPD is always up to something in television and in reality....lol.
What I'd like to know is, who is this family and why was Crews even a suspect? I'm impatient sometimes, but these bread crumbs they are feeding us is not enough. |
They are the process of creating a rich back story for us; There is just so much to know beyond whatever case they are tracking in a given week. It is slow going for the larger understanding. I have a feeling the "big story" will take years to solve, so don't expect to get your
Life molded wheat snacks by the Loaf anytime soon
Overall I really enjoyed this episode and agree that it is a hit. I hope that NBC is satisfied with the ratings thus far and will give us a "back nine" order!
