Tonight was a move in the right direction. I found the episode funny and thought many of the jokes were right on compared to last weeks hit or miss performance.
The part with the old friend (rich; successful) from Stanford was my favorite. Calling him out on insider trading was classic after that ego boosting barrage of "I'm better then you." I think that they should use this type of comedic rouse in the future to let Chuck show off his abilities in an entertaining way outside the scope of the needs of his NSA/CIA handlers.
I am really hoping that something develops between Chuck and Sarah beyond their "work relationship" and from the looks that she was giving him at the end of the episode it seems safe to assume that the show will continue to leave the door open for romance. Referencing other good shows past and present with a similar romantic situation, history has taught us that the build up is always better then the reality - so I don't expect anything, anytime soon. It is a long term hope.
Next weeks preview looked good. I wonder if Chuck goes for the other rouge agent and then makes Sarah jealous? Now that would be fun! Maybe a Battle Royale for rights to the nerd herder?
