Bionic Woman Canceled? Katee Sackhoff is done!

Will Bionic woman be picked up for the back nine? With NBC saying today that Life and Chuck will be picked up for full season orders it looks as though Journeyman and Bionic Woman are going to be casualties of this turbulent television season. Of course, if the strike is not resolved in the next few weeks, every new show will be a casualty!

No matter what happens, it has been reported that Katee Sachoff has jumped ship and there will be no resolution to the Sarah Corvis storyline even if the show is picked up for the second half of the season in the next few weeks.

I already deleted the Bionic DVR timer and have slid Kitchen Nightmares onto my schedule.

Katee Sackhoff is done with Bionic Woman, and not just because of the strike. She has a meeting with one of the producers after Thanksgiving, but does not expect to return to the show even if it does resume production (which I don't personally believe will happen anyway). She is even already trying to divorce herself from being associated with Sarah Corviss. Katee never came out and explicitly stated the reason for her departure from the show, but her thinly veiled sassy comments made it pretty apparent that there isn't a lot of love going on between her and Michelle Ryan. (Frankly, I'd go so far as to say that Katee was skating a fine line toward being rather unprofessional at times. I'm no fan of Michelle Ryan or Bionic Woman, but it's bad form in any industry to insult your co-workers in front of the customers, and Katee needs to be careful that she doesn't start burning bridges.)

Nothing official has been released and there is still a chance that they will try and save it if the writers strike ends after pilot season (which would leave the networks with only the shows they already have.)

The ratings were morbid so if you are a fan, don't get your hopes up. The last airing actually dipped below Journeyman in viewers (which was in the less appealing time slot after Bionic.) BW was purging a ratings point a week with no end in sight (unless you count zero viewers as an end to the purge.) Perhaps the novelty wore off and there really was no show.

That is the way I felt. Now if Katee would have had the lead...

i wasn't really a fan, but I like to keep up with tv happenings......I never really got too much into Katee either....i tried BSG and couldnt really get into it

If I was designing a Computer, this is the direction I'd go in.
